Rang Yai Island
Rang Yai Island (Koh Rang Yai) lying off Phuket's
east coast, this small island has been developed for the out-of-doors
minded tourist. Among the many activities are sea kayaking, mountain-biking,
playing miniature golf, and visiting the island's peal farm. For
travel to Rang Yai Island, boats may be hired from Laem Hin Peir,
just outside Phuket Town for the town of Sapam or from Phuket Boat
Lagoon. Package tours are available from many tour agencies.

Maphrao Island
Maphrao Island (Koh Ma Phrao) off Phuket east
coast is just 10 minutes from Phuket by boat from Laem Hin Pier.
There is a small village on the island. There are small bungalows
available on the island. You can also find many fine floating restaurants
located along the island's coast.

Naka Noy Island
Naka Noy Island (Koh Na Ka Noy) is small, quiet
island with fine sandy beaches lies just off Phuket's northeast
shore. Waters are suitable for swimming. One item of interest at
Naka Noy Island not found in many other places is its pearl farm.
Boats can be hired from Ao Por Pier, off Pa Khlok Rd., for travel
to Naka Noy Island, and package trips are available at tour agencies,
generally including lunch and a visit to the pearl farm.
