Island Tours
Phang-nga Bay Tour: Both sight-seeing trips
and sea-canoeing trips are available daily to Phang-nga Bay. Most
sight-sightseeing trips use local style long-tail boats to discover
beautiful islands around Phang-nga bay such as James Bond Island
(Khao Pingkun Island and Khao Thapu Island), Panyee Island, Lod
Cave. Most sight-seeing trips visit Hong Island and Panak Island.
Similan Islands Tour: Available from November
to April each year. Most similan Islands trips depart from piers
in Phang-nga province. Tours are arranged using speed boats and
express boats. Going by speed boat is recommended for one day trip
because you have to spend too much time on board if you go by other
kinds of boats.
Eco & Adventure Tours
Elephant Trekking: You will experience tours
on elephant back. For some programs, you may have a chance to control
elephants by yourself. Normally tours' lengths are from 0.5 - 1
hour. Elephant trekking operates both in Phuket and Phangnga Provinces.
Rafting Tour: All of rafting tours are operated
in Phang-nga province, but transfers from hotels in Phuket are included.
Most of these tours include elephant trekking and/or jungle walk.
Sport Tours/Packages
Sea Canoeing Tour: The tours are available
for visitors to visit magnificent landscape of Phann-nga Bay. Most
tours have canoeing staff to service visitors, but visitors also
have a chance to canoe by themselves.
Diving tour: Diving tours to Similan Islands
and Surin Islands are available from agencies in Phang Nga and Phuket.
